In our classes we use the communicative method, with debates, everyday situations and conversation, combined with the most important elements of more traditional methods, all to provide you with classes that are practical, efficient and, most importantly, fun!

 

We offer several different types of courses:

1. Standard courses
These courses have a minimum duration of two weeks. Groups are formed of a maximum of 8 students, who attend 10 hours of classes per week, distributed in 2 hours per day from Monday to Friday. These classes normally take place in the mornings, leaving the afternoons free to visit the monuments and museums of the "Casco Antiguo" (old town) or simply relax on the beach.

2. Intensive courses
Also a maximum of 8 students, these groups recieve 20 hours of classes per week, distributed in 4 hours per day from Monday to Friday. These groups can last from one week to three months and also take place in the mornings.

3. Super-intensive courses
Here we form slightly smaller groups of a maximum of 6 students, who attend 30 hours of classes per week, divided into two sessions of three hours a day, from Monday to Friday. These groups have classes with different teachers, and study Spanish Language, Culture, and History.

4. Individual classes (one-to-one)
You yourself can decide the number of classes per week, the duration of the course and its content (General Spanish, Technical Spanish, Spanish Culture, etc.). If you wish, you can also have lunch with your teacher, and so continue your conversation class.

5. Long Term Courses
If you already live, work or study here and don’t have much free-time, this course is for you! These groups attend 3 hours of classes per week, and continue all year round. They can take place in the morning, afternoon or evenings.

 

LEVELS

1.-Beginner
This level is for people who have no previous knowledge of the language.

2.-Elementary
This level is aimed at people who have some knowledge of the language but want to go through all the structures and vocabulary from the beginning.

3.-Pre-intermediate
For people who already have a base and want to start studying more complex structures.

4.-Intermediate
This level is for people with a solid base but who still have some problems with comprehension or expression in certain areas.

5.-Advanced
At this level, vocabulary is enriched and all the structures studied previously are consolidated and studied in more depth.

EXAM PREPARATION

In Casa de las Lenguas, we also prepare students for the Instituto Cervantes D.E.L.E. exams (Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma), which exist at three different levels:

• Inicial
• Básico
• Superior

And take place twice a year.

OTHER SERVICES

We also offer our students help finding accommodation (in hotels, youth hostals, shared flats or in Spanish families), an airport pick-up service, (from Jerez or Seville airports), and organised excursions, parties, social activities, etc.
